Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
